About Wikipaella

WHAT IS WIKIPAELLA?

Nowadays Paella has become an attractive worldwide brand that is often misinter- preted. Wikipaella is an orderly response from citizens to redress this imbalance between general beliefs and genuine truths. It is a source of knowledge and acknowledgement of authentic paella recipes, with contributions from everyone.

Wikipaella is a non-profit association geared towards cultural dissemination. It is composed of a wide range of people from all walks of life, and public and private sector bodies. It is a tool capable of defining, promoting and defending the classic rice dishes of the Valencia Community region, within and beyond its boundaries. This initiative, hitherto unheard of in its genre, seeks to spread knowledge of a fundamental part of Spain’s cultural heritage. Specifically, Wikipaella specialises in educational and informative activities in the world of restaurants and gastronomy. It highlights restaurateurs who uphold the gastronomic traditions and values of the Valencia Community region around the world.
